Each month, RWC La Jolla hosts a general meeting on the fourth Thursday, from September through June, at the La Jolla Country Club. These meetings are a chance to connect, learn, and engage with like-minded individuals in our community.

Dr. Julie Hayden

Dr. Julie Hayden is a licensed psychologist (PSY24184) and CEO of an affiliated continuum of behavioral health, recovery, education, and homelessness-service organizations, including Rhombus, East County Transitional Living Center, Genesis Recovery, New Vision Counseling Center, Rhombus Counseling, La Mesa Counseling, and Rhombus University. With more than 22 years of clinical and executive leadership experience, Dr. Hayden specializes in mental health, addiction, trauma, domestic violence, and services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Her work emphasizes the thoughtful integration of faith, clinical best practices, and practical support to promote lasting healing and self-sufficiency. Dr. Hayden was invited to present the Rhombus Model at the White House as an expert on addiction and mental health in homelessness and contributed to the development of the National Toolkit on Best Practices. She has taught at numerous universities, previously served as a university dean, and currently serves as Chair of the San Diego MFT Consortium. Her passion is developing effective clinicians and expanding access to healing, particularly for underserved populations.
